Wiley Learning Institute for The Financial Times

Had an interesting shoot for The Financial Times. Photographed Kevin Kelley, the Director of the newly-formed Wiley Learning Institute, a joint venture of publisher John Wiley & Sons.
The institute offers short online classes for mid-level professionals and is one of a handful of book publishers moving into this market. Up until now, business education has been the domain of universities offering MBAs and shorter in-person and online courses.
Publishers saw the need for targeted, on-demand business classes and are partnering with their authors to provide this. The full article is at the link above. Always interesting to see where private industry jumps in to fill a need in the market.
