These Old Goats are Tougher than You

While scouting locations for an upcoming project on ultra-swimmers, I was introduced to the Dolphin Club in San Francisco that has been in existence for well over a hundred years. While I was at the club, I met some older members who refer to themselves as The Old Goats, whom despite advancing age (or maybe because of it), swim in the San Francisco Bay without wetsuits in water that hovers around 55 degrees in the wintertime. The Goats range in age from 65 to upwards of 90. One member, Walt, has been a member since 1948.
